Short version: the calculators run in your browser, and we don't collect what you type.
What we don't collect
There are no accounts, no sign-up forms and no database. Your answers to the calculators stay on your device. We don't use cookies, ads or analytics at the moment. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first.
What stays on your device
- Your last CRS score is saved in your browser's local storage, so the draws page can compare it with recent cutoffs. Clearing your browser data removes it.
- When you copy a share link, your answers are written into the part of the address after the # sign. Browsers don't send that part to our server, but anyone you give the link to can see the answers.
Other websites
The draws page and the calculator load IRCC's public draw data directly from canada.ca. When that happens your browser connects to canada.ca, and the Government of Canada's own privacy rules apply to that connection. Our host may keep basic server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.
